Spring, day one....13 Degrees this morning in Southern Wisconsin. Day started out with the usual. Coffee, feed the animal(s), and begin anew.
Later still, after a troublesome conversation with an automobile ins. wonk, the day took on an ominous tone..
After lunch, mail pick up and review, I discovered new music after attempting my own. The artist is not important, what is important, happens to be the era that modern times represent.
The emergence out of a historic paradigm resembles in many ways; the early to late 1920's. The music, the mood swings despite a not too pretentious market and entertainment offerings ring similar to those events long ago.
Among the best of the twenties lies the music, now digitally remastered it has transitioned to a resonant tone that is regarded as, pleasing to all who listen...
Once again, it is the first day of spring, snowdrifts in the ground, single digit night or two ahead. ....

Open page......Caribbean thoughts seem to haunt my mind this day. Fat Tuesday affects me that way. Carbonation follows through, thoughts of dissonance left for Saturday....What does that say for your ?
Seasonings seem to transcend the business of the day , grind it up in a special way. The meat grinder of sausage our Mothers once possessed. We took for granted Burgers and Meatloaf, created in a special way.
Almost satiated with the thoughts of all spent....Sun is fading the burst is contemplating to the end of Day.
Wake Up! Hockey is still in session , the NBA tripping through twitter, vevo and youtube & Face what's the title called ? I have to get back to Redbox....they need me......
Earlier I mentioned a meeting that took place today. If selected , I won't be wasting my time....re-stated,...my postings will be fleeting....perhaps....If my Bp remains stable.......more work in the lab, to tear down the obstacles of all that pervades.....it's only Tuesday...
Check you Lottery Tickets....If so.....it will be Mardi Gras today.

First blog of the new year...woo hoo.
Lottery winnings are mounting....slow growth, baby steps...etc...
The Tire Man called to see how our two new tires are working on the Buick...nice gesture..to be sure.
Alex Jones really stirred up Piers Morgan the other night...Gun violence in this country is legend. Most incidents are Gang related in the major and sometimes minor municipalities around the country. Two evils within the land are gang banging killers and mental health breakdowns with access to guns. A bad combination either way.
Draconian measures and better cooperation in affected cities are two possible remedies to possibly end the carnage. Bulldozing perps habitats another....
For decades now, it is nigh onto impossible to admit Chronic Offenders to Psychiatric Institutions unless they actually throw furniture through the living room window....We analyze children in the public school environment, why as Adults....
Often, known patients are diagnosed, medicated and released with the promise. The promise is not enforced or cases followed up upon...Why?
All said and done.....we have (as a nation) to pay for Two Wars, a diminished tax base, horrible 35% Corporate tax base along with a punitive Income Tax on all, hard working individuals...
Progressives howl, conservatives squeal and Independents....muddle along listening to Ipods, tapping their toes, drinking too much morning coffee, work out, pump and run, sing to the cat, dance in the garage and occasionally resonate om the guitar, gently weep, look out the window at the barren field, saute often and enjoy an occasional piece of chocolate.....
Only my personal observation.....don't indite me, I'm the struggling piano player who sometimes listens to AC/DC in order to confuse my neighbors....my bad....(:O)

As of this writing it has been announced privately, Illinois deregulation will unfold in February, 2008

This means that alternate suppliers of electricity (and eventually natural gas )
, will become available to home and small business owners throughout Illinois.
Presently I pay about ten cents per kilowatt at my house in the country. I have been told that my bill will be lower when deregulation unfolds in my area, currently supplied by Alliant Utililties. Texans are paying less now for their electricity needs, the same for residents of New York State. Illinois is next.
Shell Oil is one of the alternate suppliers of electricity to the national Grid. They are posed to aggressively enter the Midwest market. In time, the dust will settle.
As a former owner of a steam plant operation some years ago, my heart goes out to the small business operators and families whose rates have skyrocketed since "official deregulation" has occurred.
Once the new players enter the market, (sooner than you think), Alliant, Con Ed and the others will be shaking their wires in an attempt to regain marketshare, lost to the new Suppliers.
Good Luck to all, remember, we live up here in order to enjoy the change of seasons and to discuss the change of CEO's and their legions.
